At KCL, I teach or have taught the following papers:
- 4AANA002 Ethics (First year undergraduate)
- 4AANA102 Introduction to Philosophy I: Ethics element (First year undergraduate)
- 5AANA005 Ethics IIA (Second year undergraduate)
- 6AANA038 Topics in Ethics B: Philosophy of Love (Third year undergraduate)
- 7AAN6009 Ethics I (MA level)
My Philosophy of Love module at KCL combines music and philosophy. Each week we listen to and discuss a song about love, from Ella Fitzgerald’s My Funny Valentine, to Can’t Smile Without You by the Carpenters. I am happy to share the syllabus for this, and to chat more with anyone thinking about using music to teach philosophy (which I recommend!)
I also supervise postgraduate research students in philosophy (MPhilStud and PhD) and MA students. You are welcome to approach me about postgraduate supervision, especially for projects in feminist ethics and adjacent areas.
At Cambridge, I taught a range of papers covering ethics, political philosophy, history of philosophy, philosophy of language, feminist philosophy, philosophy of race, and aesthetics.
